WHO WE ARE
Founded in 1989, MEDEF International is a non-profit private-funded organisation under French Law, chaired since 2016 by Mr Frédéric Sanchez, Chairman of the Board of FIVES.
MEDEF International represents MEDEF throughout the world. It promotes French expertise, trade and investments by French companies globally. It forges long-term partnerships and investments, primarily in emerging and developing countries.
7,200 French companies take part in MEDEF International initiatives in 81 regional bilateral Councils, headed by 52 French industry leaders. These Councils come together in 200 high-level meetings organised every year with global public and private decision-makers in Paris and other international venues.
MEDEF International is also the Private Sector Liaison Officer for the World Bank, EBRD, AfBD and IDB.
